Suki Mode is a kawaii swimwear and cosplay house built around the energy of gacha. Every drop is a Banner. Every piece is a character. Shopping should feel like pulling something rare.

We started with a frustration we kept running into — the swimwear and cosplay we loved was made in Japan and Korea, and almost none of it carried sizes that fit US bodies. Quality on what did make it across was hit or miss.

So we built our own. Designed in-house, sized XS–3XL from day one, and made with fabric we actually want against our skin.

Orders & payment

All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal.

If we haven't shipped yet, yes. Email support@sukimode.shop with your order number and what you'd like to change as soon as you can. Once a parcel is moving, we can't pull it back.

We collect sales tax in U.S. states where we have a tax obligation. It's calculated automatically at checkout based on your shipping address.

Not yet. We currently ship within the United States only. International shipping is on the roadmap — sign up for our list to know when it opens.

Care & quality

Hand-wash cold with mild detergent, lay flat to dry. Never tumble dry, never bleach. For swimwear, rinse in cool tap water immediately after pool or ocean to neutralize chlorine and salt. A care card is included with every order.

We source fabric from USMCA partners — North America (US, Canada, Mexico). Closer supply chain, traceable origin, and a quality bar we can actually verify.

We're sorry. Email support@sukimode.shop within 7 days with your order number and a photo. We'll send a replacement or full refund — no return needed for damaged items.

About the brand

A Banner is a drop. Borrowed from gacha games — every release of new pieces is a Banner with its own theme and character direction. When you see Limited on a piece, it means that drop won't restock.

Shipping & Returns

Simple, fair.

Orders ship from California, USA. We currently ship within the United States only — international shipping is coming.

Domestic shipping (US)

Shipping rates and delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your destination and the weight of your order. We're a brand-new studio and we'd rather quote you accurately than promise a flat rate we can't honor.

All orders ship with tracking. You'll get a tracking link by email once your order leaves the studio.

International shipping

Not yet — we're US only at launch. We'll announce international shipping when it opens. Sign up for our list to be the first to know.

Returns & exchanges

30-day returns on most items. Final-sale items are marked clearly on the product page. For hygiene reasons, lingerie and swim bottoms are final sale.

We'll email a prepaid label. A $5 fee is deducted from the refund — free for exchanges.

Repack in the original mailer (or any padded envelope) and drop at any USPS location.

Refunded to your original payment method 3–5 business days after we receive it.

Final-sale items

For hygiene reasons, the following are non-returnable: lingerie sets, swim bottoms, worn or washed items, items missing original tags or hygiene liners, and anything marked "final sale" at checkout.

Damaged or wrong item

If we sent you the wrong item or it arrived damaged, email support@sukimode.shop within 7 days with photos. We'll replace it or refund you in full — no return needed.

Terms of Service

Last updated May 2026. By using sukimode.shop, placing an order, or creating an account, you agree to these terms. Suki Mode is operated by Based Thread LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as Suki Mode ("Suki Mode," "we," "us," "our").

1. Eligibility

You must be of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use this site or place an order. We may refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason.

2. Your account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@sukimode.shop if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Orders & payment

All orders submitted through the site are offers to purchase, subject to our acceptance. We may decline, limit, or cancel any order at our discretion (including for suspected fraud, errors in pricing or availability, or inability to verify shipping information). Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. Applicable sales tax is calculated and added at checkout based on your shipping address.

Promotional codes are single-use unless otherwise stated, cannot be combined, cannot be applied retroactively, and have no cash value.

4. Shipping, delivery & risk of loss

We ship from California, USA. We currently ship within the United States only. Shipping rates and estimated delivery times are calculated and shown at checkout. Title and risk of loss pass to you when we deliver the package to the carrier. Delivery dates are estimates and not guarantees.

5. Returns & exchanges

Our current returns policy is published on the Shipping & Returns page and is incorporated into these terms by reference. For hygiene reasons, lingerie sets, swim bottoms, worn or washed items, and items marked "final sale" are not eligible for return.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including product designs, photographs, illustrations, the Suki Mode name and wordmark, and the look-and-feel of the storefront — is owned by Based Thread LLC or licensed to us, and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any of it without our prior written permission.

7. User-submitted content

If you submit content to us — by tagging us on social media, submitting photos, or otherwise — you grant Based Thread LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content in connection with the operation and promotion of Suki Mode. You represent that you own or otherwise have the rights to grant this license. You can revoke this license going forward at any time by emailing support@sukimode.shop.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the site; scrape or harvest content for commercial use; interfere with the security or operation of the site; impersonate any person or entity; or use Suki Mode to harass, defame, or harm anyone.

9. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the site after we post changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Privacy Policy

Last updated May 2026. We collect the data we need to ship your orders and run our business — nothing more. We do not sell your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

1. Who we are

Suki Mode is operated by Based Thread LLC, a California limited liability company. References to "we," "us," and "our" mean Based Thread LLC. Our mailing address is 3400 Cottage Way, Ste G2 #25379, Sacramento, CA 95825, USA.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide: name, email address, shipping and billing addresses, phone number (optional), order history, account login credentials, and any messages you send to customer support.

Information collected automatically: IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, referring URL, and cookie and similar identifiers.

Payment information: processed by our payment providers (such as Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, and PayPal). We do not see or store your full payment card number.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to: process and fulfill orders; handle returns and exchanges; send transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates); respond to customer support requests; detect and prevent fraud; comply with our legal obligations; and, only if you opt in, send marketing emails about new drops.

4. Cookies & analytics

We use first-party cookies for essential functions (cart, login, preferences). We use third-party tools for analytics and advertising measurement, which may include Shopify Analytics, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and Google. You can manage non-essential cookies through your browser settings or any cookie banner shown on the site.

5. Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate Suki Mode, including: Shopify (storefront and payments), shipping carriers (USPS, UPS), email service providers, and our cloud hosting providers. Each is contractually required to use your information only to provide services to us.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with data brokers.

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our legal rights or the safety of others.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to restrict or object to certain processing. California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any right, email support@sukimode.shop. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

7. Data retention

We keep order records for as long as required for tax, accounting, and legal compliance (typically up to 7 years). Account data is retained until you delete your account. Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe. Customer support correspondence is retained for up to 3 years.

8. Security

We use HTTPS across the site. Payment card data is tokenized through PCI-compliant processors. We restrict internal access to personal information on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to follow industry-standard practices.

9. Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the threshold). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact support@sukimode.shop and we will delete it.

10. International users

We are based in the United States. If you access the site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date when we do. For material changes, we will provide additional notice (such as by email or a notice on the site).
